Use of Rig for student film maybe festivals?

Hi there,

My name is Jordan Ariel, a student at the Univeristy of Southern California Animation program, and I was wonderinf if I can use this rig for my senior thesis film? I am assuming this is okay as student projects are non-commercial, but there is potential for this to be submited to festivals as well...if that is the case, is there a way I could get or you could authorize a festival only license?

I have attached a style frame from the film so you can see the general idea.
