Many errors with Ninja City pls help

Hi, just purchased this after seeing the youtube video showing how excellent it is. High expectations for this but I have allot of errors.
The folder is sitting in my C: directory and I am using the script as instructed within the .txt file. I am getting an error with... 
Building custom city error // Error: file: C:/Ninja_City/Tools/NC_City.mel line 1335: Cannot find procedure "doMenuComponentSelection". //
My work flow is to simply create and select a poly plane and hit the button.
Next is an error with build custom floor plan which creates some bizare geometry.

Long error message at the bottom of this message.

Can you please help me out asap as I have invested some cash into this and actually need it to work for my project.

using maya 2013, tried in maya 2012 also.

    Also trying to create a building on its own, it seems to build inside out and cant be fixed, what the heck am I doing wrong here?
