Of course I know there is no perfect security, but your tool can be cracked for several minutes. Just using parse dirs inside st_assets I can find "demo = True" variable. Afterward just adding "\n\tst_assets.MainWindow.demo = False" I can remove demoversion. In the case you put these code inside __init__() this way will be no longer available.
p.s. I didn't use script for purpose, just out of curiosity.
