i have installed eclipse 3.2 / pydev. then copy jar file downloaded to /usr/lib/eclipse/plugins but it didn't showed up in preferences>>maya editor preferences (like u have shown in tut)
i tried extracting the plugin manually but it still didn't showed up in preferences, no luck for preferences
i tried going to preferneces>> plugin dev>>target platform, the plugin is listed there in plugins and loaded (checkbox ON).
now it really confuses me,
ok, just wanted to say sorry and update everyone, fault is at my end. i have recently tested again and now its working.
eclipse 3.5 ( gilelio ) with pydev 1.5, it works,
