This rig is pretty good. However, it does need shoulder controls and at least some basic face controls. An IK tail would be a nice touch, too. But overall, it's pretty good for basic animation practice.
I made a simple animation with our rig. I am a beginner animator and this rig was very easy to use. The only problem I came across was the teeth becoming detached from the body but that was likely an error on my part.

Hey, thanks for the rig!! I agree that some prominent shoulder action would be great. But other than that, so far it's working great for me! I had a cat rig that had wide open white eyes and the facial controls weren't working. Although this tiger doesn't have any blinking capability, it's not as obvious to the audience, so I can focus on the body. Thank you!!
Over all a solid rig! I got a pretty good animation out of it. Like was said before, I would like to see some simple facial controls and some deformation on the shoulder blades. Your skinning could use some work too. He cant sit and if you try to rotate him outside of the base node his belly gets all messed up.

This is one of the best animal rigs I have come accross. No unnecessary fancy controls and no unwanted deformations. Very animation friendly rig as copy paste is easy.
Facial can be added and mouth inner could be a better idea.

like the other already said it's a very good rig!
a spline ik for the tail would have been cool as well and the front legs are hard to get into a nice shape when they move forward (foot bend).
besides the things the other guys have mentioned it's a very good piece of work!
