Once loaded, it replaces the Paint Textures Tool with a 3D Paint FX Tool, extending the feature set of Texture Paint to include smear, blur, clone and erase brushes, and the ability to use any Paint Effects brush to paint textures. This brings a variety of brush types to the user, which he or she can use in a true 3D paint fashion on any renderable channel such as color, bump, transparency, incandescence etc
