Crepo (Sound Renderer) plugin for Maya 2009?

Date:06/04/2010
Submitted by: N R N R
I've been looking for a way to edit sound effects (in stereo) automatically depending on the position and distance to the source from a camera in Maya. I found this plugin called Crepo that will do exactly that, if I'm not mistaken. The problem is it's not compatible with Maya 2009. Have anyone compiled it for Maya 2009? (The source files can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/crepo/.)

This was written by the programmer in 2007 under the review section (
http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/utility-external/c/crepo-sound-renderer--2/comments#tabs):

"Hi!
Thanks for the nice words and that you all like the plugin. First, there is a recompile for Maya 8.5 (Sorry no Maya 8.0 version, since I currently don't have it installed).
I've also decided to make the plugin open source. So you can compile your own versions of the plugin whenever a new Maya release comes out. There's another reason why I made the source code public: I'm hoping there's some kind soul who wants to port the plugin to MacOS X, since I surely won't have time to do this :-) Well, if you, the reader of this comment, want to be that person head to http://sourceforge.net/projects/crepo/ and contact me, if you have something working."
