can you provide a sentence explaining how we install this plug-in? beyond putting the .mll in the plug-ins folder. After loaded where is it?

Hi, the plugin provides a mel-command called makeCorrShape. So when you have loaded the plugIn, you can type makeCorrShape in the mel-command line and maya will recognize it. But first you have to select your shapes and skincluster in a certain order. So the whole procedure looks like this: loadPlugin makeCorrShape; //load the plugIn select -r sculpt ; //your duplicate of the deformed geometry which you have nicely sculpted select -add skinned ; //your skinnd geometry in the state where you want make the correction (as in the picture) select -addFirst skinCluster1 ; //the skincluster makeCorrShape; //this is the actual mel-command that creates the corrective shape, the created mesh will be called corrMesh Hope, this makes sense, if not, feel free to ask again cheers linez

Yes it worked for me, using 2014. It was a bit confusing at first, I had some crashes, etc. Just do what he says to do, in that order. 1. Load the plugin (the correct version for your version of Maya) 2. Create a duplicate of your mesh in the problem pose. Then sculpt/modify the duplicate. 3. Select the duplicate mesh that you modified first. 4. Shift select the skinned mesh (that is in the posed position) 5. hold the shift key and click on the name of the skinCluster in the channel box. 6. type 'makeCorrShape' in the mel command line. done! it worked for me! Nice tool, thank you.
