I only have maya2008 and tried to load the 2008 plugin and get this error... // Error: Plug-in, "physx_2008" was compiled against a newer version of the Maya API and is incompatible with the current Maya version. (physx_2008) // -

Kurianos3d, you are my hero! I wish I could offer assistance other than cheering you on; I will be forever in your debt if you can manage Maya 2009x64 support! -

It seems PhysX's own Bake isn't working in this version but Maya's Bake does work. To make Maya's Bake work I set the following settings in the Bake Simulations Option box: Reset bake options to bring the defaults back... then set the following Hierarchy: Selected Channels: From Channel Box s then hit Bake. Before playing or scrubbing the time slider make sure to set Active: off for the selected active rigid bodies you just baked simulation for. Thats it.. Hope it works for you all. Cheers, ak -

baking is not working on maya 2009 too ... Great plug for Maya 2008 user, excellent rigid bodies. where can we find the source to compile it for 64 bits os ? -

I have some really useful ragdoll-baking and cloth-to-bone-chain scripts that were useless without Nima. Baking is borked in Maya 2009, but I have workarounds (they aren't pretty, but they work.) Would love a 64-bit recompile on this if possible!
