Before I begin, the plug-ins included in the download are not compatible with the Mac version of Maya's plugins folder. I added them, and Maya for Mac doesn't recognize them.

Anyway, I added the script to my scripts folder, loaded the button onto the shelf, etc. Those worked fine, and selecting the base object to 'get geometry' worked fine, with the exception of an error which read:

# Error: Unable to dynamically load : /Applications/Autodesk/maya2009/Maya.app/Contents/MacOS/plug-ins/radialBlendShape.mll
does not match the current architecture #
# Error: does not match the current architecture #
# Error: does not match the current architecture (radialBlendShape) #

It runs through these errors and gets the base objects geometry anyway.
When I select the target object(s) and press the 'Add' button, Maya gives me this error:

# Error: Unable to create/find dependency node.

This looks like a really awesome blendshape tool, but I need for this to get resolved before I can use it.
