I don't have Maya 2016 on my mac so it's kind of hard for me to figure out the problem...
Have you followed the instructions listed in HowtoUse.txt?
Getting Maya to work with python's numpy module is essential for this script to work.
If you did, are there no error messages shown in the script editor?
