How about scale? One Maya units are equal to 1 pixel in After Effects. Can there be a scale option to scale up ones scenes?

The Option "Scene to mm on export" facilitates scaling the scene to a more reasonable size if you are working in centimeters. I like to scale down in Maya for effects like Particular Other wise you can uncheck scene to mm on export and it will result in a larger scene. Changing your working units in maya will do the same. There has been one case where i was working in millimeters and wanted it to be smaller for After Effects. For this I just grouped the whole scene carefully and scaled the group down. Remember 1 unit in maya is arbitrary, if you change your working units in maya, when exported that unit will represent one pixel! Hope That helps! In terms of a built in feature to scale, I have looked at that, however it would require me to write an ascii exporter manually, (like the guy who did it for lightwave did). Unless you can give me some good reasons why it would be helpful, its too much work for this free script! CHEERS!
