this script gives you a dockable lighting toolkit, moving most of your Maya lighting tasks to a single location.
The main window lists all lights in your scene organized by group, with editable attributes for color and intensity, as well as shadow parameters. You can also mute (hide this light) or solo (hide all other lights).
Version 1.0 also includes the Friendly Light Linker and the Light Link Viewer (found in the the Window menu)
To run, simply copy the LightersFriend.mel file to your default scripts directory, and type the following into the script editor:
rehash; source LightersFriend; LightersFriend;
(note: all but the most recent image are from old versions of the script, included just for fun as an example of the evolution of this tool)
