I tried to use it on a characters tentacle, and this is the error I get:

Bad Edge Selection
You have intersecting edge selections or no edge selected. Reselect and try again.

I've selected edges with rings selection so they can't be selected wrong. I double checked it as well.

    I'm currently working on a slight rewrite of the script to better handle all combinations of edge selections. Right now the script should work with all edge selections where each vert in the selection has at most two edges coming into it. I had to make it like this so that I can correctly trace the edge loops. The rewrite will involve ways to handle all type of edge selections even if some guessing needs to be done.
