When I was in grad school at I developed Small Mental Adventure as my thesis animation for my MFA in Special Effects/3D Animation. With my background in programming, I concentrated on MEL scripting as much as animation for my thesis.
This is where MILO Tools came from.
I was experimenting with Maya's MEL Scripting while also developing scripts that had the functionality I needed to complete the animation. MILO Tools totals thousands of lines of code and encompasses everything from special effects, particle behaviours, and even a complete automated character animation rig.
Now that I'm mainly working with Max while teaching game design at Brown College I've decided to make MILO Tools available as a free download. If you dig it feel free to let me know and sign up on my email list at www.devjana.com
