Charlie this is the only place i can ask for help relating to your script. I have a problem, i asked you for help and you ignored my question. I thought you were unavailable but then someone else asks another question and you respond to him. i need help and you're the only one who knows how best i could deal with it. So would you be kind enough to help me out? pls? thank you >> -

Hi Darshan, I you have the script in the correct folder (that is to say in one of Maya script paths, there are many), you only have to run: craOBJSequences so, dragging only the text craOBJSequences to the shelf should do the trick. That's it. Cheers. -

Hey Charlie First of all its great to find such a handy script for 3D Artist. I am sure it would be amazing of a script from the video that I have seen. I am trying to load the script exactly the way its being said. I am using Maya 2015 I have placed the script at the specified folder. I have loaded the script through script editor. I copied the following portion "global proc craOBJsequnces()..... return $shaders; } }" and dragging with the middle mouse button to the shelf editor. I have no UI that is being shown there. Is there any way you can help me through.?? Thanks again for your contribution. -

Hi. This is an amazing script. Many thanks for it. But I have a little issue when I export multiple meshes all with textures. It prompts me to either export them as one obj sequence or separately. For what I bed the export for, exporting them combined is the best option for me. But what happens is, the UV get messed up. I don't know why. When I export them separately though, it maps correctly. But when I export them combined as one mesh, i don't get my UVs mapped properly. At all. Please help -

Well, Kevin, I really do not know. This is a tool only for the Maya side of things. You'll have to google it. First results. https://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/objloader-v1-4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PY9b62TDo8 -

Well dunwoodie01, I will need more information, but if you are on windows, place the script 'craOBJSequences.mel' in: c:\Users\\Documents\maya\2015-x64\scripts or c:\Users\\Documents\maya\scripts then start Maya and run (from command-line, shelf button or Script Editor): craOBJSequences that's it. It should work, and the UI should appear. I cannot provide any more help without more information about the issue/error. -

Hi, I am using maya 2015, I have followed each possible step to run the script as followed in all these comments, and still it won't appear or do anything, I have even placed the MEL file into the script folder but nothing. -

Hi Ilya, it was a bug. The script was trying to rename lambert1 shader. I guess you are importing a sequence which does not have materials (mtl files). Download new version v2.0.1, it should be fixed. Let me know if it works ok. Thanks for the feedback. -
