This script simplyfies the process of aligning the pivot of imported to Maya curves, polys... to one the face of the object. It simply measure the angle between a vector (made of two selected vertices) and the Z axis (measured from origin), then rotates the object by the given angle, feezes its transformation and rotates it back with the axes aligned.
