I just wanted to add a comment here. I also wanted this ported over to Maya 2011 but rather than waiting I figured out how to fix it myself. Haven't uploaded a new script yet but here is what you need to know... around line 1481 there are several optionMenu commands that are editing the categories and character lists. In these commands there is a flag like this: -p optionMenusRow which is trying to set its parent over again. This happens on 5 different lines in the same area. Just remove this flag from the commands and that fixes most of it. then on line 1649 there is a flag -lw 75 which has been deprecated. remove that flag also. It only outputs a warning. That is all you need to do to get it working. It should be noted that the shelfLayout in Maya 2011 doesn't appear to be working right withing the frameLayout. It doesn't size to fit it anymore so the UI is not pleasant to look at as much anymore. But it will be functional at least until we get that bug figured out. -

There's a new version out now that's compatible with Maya 2011, so I'm closing the bug. -
