Maya 2011 or higher the Command fileBrowserDialog has been deprecated. So changed to fileDialog2.
Before modeling with polygons, maybe you need a image plane for reference. This scripts could be help you create a image plane quickly. The most importantly feature is the image plane scaled by the iamge ratio.
Features
1: Find the image use the button on the Top-right corner of UI(or type in the text field directly). 2: Give a name for the polyplane, it's also be prefix of name for shadingnetwork. 3: Warning! if immage's resolution over 9999, but it still work.
