Polygon Modeling Tools:
- Curve Distribute Between Vertices: With the default options, this tool will distribute vertices forming an edge path between two or more selected vertices along a (dynamically created and not retained) NURBS curve passing between the vertices you've selected. Options are provided to use selection order (vs automatic alignment), to retain the curve as a wire deformer, and/or to distribute vertices proportionate to their original spacing.
- Loft Distribute Vertices Between Edges: With the default options, this tool will distribute vertices sandwiched between your selected edges along a (dynamically created and not retained) lofted NURBS surface passing between the edges you've selected. Options are provided for proportionate distribution and for retaining the loft as a wrap deformer.
Polygon UV Editing Tools:
- Curve Distribute Between UVs: With the default options, this tool will distribute UVs forming a path between your selected UVs along a (dynamically created and not retained) NURBS curve passing between the UVs you've selected.
- Loft Distribute UVs Between Edges or UVs: With the default options, this tool will distribute UVs sandwiched between your selected edges and/or UVs along a (dynamically created and not retained) lofted NURBS surface created from the UVs and/or edges you've selected. Additional options are provided to toggle between uniform and world-space-proportionate distribution.
Polygon Component Selection Tools:
- Select Edges Between Vertices: With the default options, "Select Edges Between Vertices" will select the edge path with the fewest number of possible edges between two or more vertices. Options are provided to toggle between automatic sorting and selection order, as well as for "closing the loop". Supercficially this tool appears to offer similar functionality to Maya's "shortest edge path" tool, however the algorithm is significantly different and provides greater utility when used in concert with ZenTools' modeling and UV tools than the "shortest edge path" tool.
- Select Edges Between UVs: Just like "Select Edges Between Vertices", but operates in UV space, respecting UV borders.
- Select UVs Between UVs: Just like "Select Edges Between UVs", but selects UVs instead of edges. This is particularly useful when operating on UV mesh borders.
