SOLUTION for Maya 2022 and onwards: Maya switched to Python 3.0, therefor the code for zhcg_polyTools.py needs to be converted to Python 3.0 from 2.0.
You can do that here: https://python2to3.com/Open the file, Select All and copy, then convert in the website, copy the converted code and paste in .py file.
Not all functions work, however the menu now appears as normal.

The Average Line tool is a real time saver, and I loved using it in Maya 2018, but I haven't been able to use it since upgrading to Maya 2022. When I follow the install instructions, the ZhCG_PolyTools toolbar menu doesn't show up in Maya 2022.
Is there an updated or recompiled version of ZhCG_PolyTools for Maya 2022?
