I like the rig, but it definitely has some issues.
I like the fact that he's a big, goofy mush, but the skin protrudes through the shirt if you exaggerate the form slightly more than a standard pose.  There's a weird piece of geometry sticking out of the front of the collar that I didn't notice until my scene was on the polish phase.

The facial morphs need a lot more diversity.  There's basically no difference between the Ooo and kiss/pucker, and there's no way to bring the corners of the mouth in for any type of dialogue.  I would also suggest making the finger curl controls in one group in the channel box instead of each one in their respective finger groups.  When you curl fingers, you normally do them together and with this rig, I need to scroll down to each finger section and select all of the curls instead of having them all together in a curl section.  It would be much more convenient and would have sped up my workflow.  Having the ability to cup the thumb would have been a better option than cupping the pinky, in my opinion.
I like the rig overall, it just needs some work that could have made it much better.  I uploaded an image to show the collar protrusion on smoothing level 3.

Great rig! But it'd be even better if it has a global anim, so that I can scale Groggy accordingly.

Hi! Great rig! I was just wondering if I could use Groggy in a short film I'm making? (All credit given, of course!)

Hi. I ve been trying to animate this rig but I m quite at he beginning with Maya so maybe its my fault but could you guys help me with this? When I animate it and try to render it I get this odd 2D cartoony version of it. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks

This is a really cool rig I think, but it could use some work on the deformations and the facial setup since he is so big. His face could be a lot more expressive with some better controls.

Hi, i recently used this rigg for the monthly competition in 11seconclub....it was the most funnyest and easy to animate, and i experimented with lots of riggs the last year. So....thanks a lot overcontrast! here is the animation i did with Groggy https://www.11secondclub.com/competitions/march11/entry/VsdUR2

Hey overcontrast, I really like the character and the rig! Could you recommend a book or video tut to learn rigging like you did. Can you recommend the "Body Language - Advanced Character Rigging" Book?

The switch is in the shoulder_ctrls. It seemed the logical place to put it (I guess).
