Hi all,
This is still under development but I thought I'd share it now. This script allows you to quickly create a bipedal rig with IK / FK switching, auto stretch, squish, parent space switching and various other options.
It is fairly easy to use, simply add the following to a shelf button:
source jtAutoRig; jtAutoRig();
There are a number of known issues that I need to resolve in the next release but please feel free to send me any feedback.
So far I've only tested it on Maya 2008 and 2009. It won't work on earlier Maya versions. The interface changes on Maya 2011 may cause issues - I have yet to test this.
Thanks!
