1. Copy the oj_prefixSuffixManagerUI.mel file into "maya/<version>/scripts" folder which is found under documents(Win 7/Vista) for XP its My Documents.
2. Simply type oj_prefixSuffixManagerUI into the command line and hit enter or make a shelf button for it.
How to use:
Very simple to use, type the prefix/suffix you want and then simply hit the Rename button just right to the text prefix/suffix you type. If you want both Prefix and Suffix to be added then simply type prefix/suffix into their respective field and then hit the big Prefix + Suffix button and your done.
It will add Prefix/Suffix or both to all selected objects(also works with utility nodes etc) .
