This script spreads UVs randomly. You can choose to constrain to just U or V for things like boards or bricks. You can also define a grid to constrain to.
To use:
1. Save script to your documents\maya\*version*\prefs\scripts folder. 2. Start Maya. 3. In your command line or script editor, type the following and execute:
RandomUVToolbox;
Random U Spreads uvs of selected objects in just U.
Random UV Spreads uvs of selected objects in both U and V.
Random V Spreads uvs of selected objects in just V.
Grid Constrain random spread to a grid. A value of 0 will not constrain to a grid. A value of 2 will set up 2x2 subdivision.
