Arm twist weirdness - Maya 2018

Hi Dustin,

First of all, a million thanks for creating such an incredible tool. It really is a life saver for me.

I'm having a little bit of a problem when creating arms with roll joints in Maya 2018, RRM version 2.1.3. The whole setup works ok, but when I twist the shoulder or the wrist in the X axis, it doesn't behave as I believe it should behave:

Here's a little video of the problem:

On the shoulder, it seems the furthest apart roll joint is the one twisting more, when it should be the opposite. And on the wrist, it seems like roll joints rotate in the opposite direction of the wrist controller.

I've also tried with Maya 2017, and the problem is the same. With Maya 2014 and RRM 1.8.2 everything works just fine.

Can you check it and see if I'm missing anything?

Thanks again!
Toni

    Hello Toni,

Thanks for the very detailed description and video, that helps a lot!

I tested this out in Version 2.4.4 and I cannot reproduce it. What you are seeing is possibly a bug in your version. Are you able to upgrade to 2.4.4? 2.1.3 is from early 2017 so there have been a lot of improvements since then.

    Dustin
